A London Wedding / Museum of the Home & Great Beyond Taproom

Kav and Chit got married in a beautiful London museum and celebrated the rest of their night at a craft brewery under a railway bridge, eating pizza.

If there is a cool way to get married, I think this is it.

The morning started with the sort of prep experience I always hope for - lots of people, everyone talking, glasses of fizz with strawberries dropped in them, and everyone just enjoying the moment. Exactly as it should be.

The Museum of the Home

At the museum, the ceremony was held under an arch of colour in rust and orange, with the garden doors open behind it. A room full of people watching two of their favourites get on with it.

Afterwards, confetti in the walled garden - old brick, ivy climbing up and a quieter half hour in the herb garden, with just Kav and Chit taking each other in and doing so in exceptional style.

Great Beyond Taproom, Hoxton

We walked five minutes down the road to a railway arch, where the rest of the night happened under a wall of brewing tanks: craft beer and lots of pizza enjoyed with both hands.

This one was different. No big speeches. No perfectly manicured lawn. Nobody trying to look like anything other than what they were - just lots of happy people having a great time.

Travelling down from Scotland for this one was a proper treat. Thanks for having me, both of you.
